How discounts work at Bolt: unlike a traditional shop, a Bolt discount code is not applied at a product checkout, but is entered in the mobile app, in the dedicated promotions or payment section. Once activated, the code is applied automatically to your next eligible ride or order, within the displayed conditions (value, number of uses, city, service). Bolt discount code for new customers

• Welcome code — Bolt often offers discounts on the first rides for new accounts; the value and conditions are shown in the app and may vary by city.
• City launch promotions — when entering a new city, Bolt often runs temporary discounts (for example up to 50%) on rides.

Bolt services

Under the same app, Bolt brings together: Rides (ride-hailing) — fast transport with a driver, with several categories depending on the city; Bolt Food — food delivery from restaurants and, in some cities, products from shops; Electric scooters and bikes — micromobility rented by the minute, unlocked through the app. In certain international markets, Bolt also offers additional car-sharing-type services. The availability of each service depends on the city.

Payment and cancellations

Payment at Bolt is made in the app, by saved card, digital wallets and, in cities where it's available, cash directly to the driver. For rides, the app shows the price estimate before you order; cancellation fees may apply if you cancel after the driver has accepted and set off towards you. For Bolt Food, the order and refund policies in the app apply. As a service, Bolt does not fall under the traditional "product return" rules — check the terms in the app for each situation.

The Bolt app is available on iOS and Android and gathers all the services in one place: ordering a ride, tracking the driver in real time, payment, history, the promotions section where you enter a Bolt discount code, plus Bolt Food and micromobility.
